Sea-Shield® Ceramic Coating is a professional, yacht-quality marine clear coat that can be applied to a variety of surfaces. The application area should be well-ventilated with good lighting. Avoid direct sun or hot surfaces when applying to glass. If necessary, prepare and polish the surface before applying the Ceramic Coating.
[[Disclaimer: Protective gloves and mask are recommended.

STEP 1: CLEAN
Use the prep spray and a microfiber towel to clean the surface and remove excess wax, polish, or surface contaminants.

STEP 2: APPLY
With the surface completely dry, work on small sections at a time. Drip the product along the length of an applicator block and apply it in a cross-hatch pattern. Use a different side of the applicator for each small areahardens, or if it gets dirty.

STEP 3: CURING
Time for the curing process will vary depending on the temperature and humidity. Completely buff it off after about 30 seconds in warmer weather. You may need to wait up to two minutes if the temperature is in the 60’s.

STEP 4: SHINE
Use one microfiber towel to remove the excess coating and a second towel to polish the surface to a clean shine. Make sure all the excess coating is removed; any remaining product will be permanent. Light machine polishing will remove excess dry ceramic.

STEP 5: HARDEN
The surface should be kept dry for at least one hour. The product is water proof and will fully cure and harden after 48 hours.

EXTRA PROTECTION
A second application of Sea-Shield® Ceramic Coating can be applied for extra protection. Wait at least one hour between coats.

MAINTENANCE
Depending on the severity of the conditions where you live, the Sea-Shield® Ceramic Coating will last 1-2 years, or more. Of course, some sections that are more exposed to the elements will need more frequent re-application, keeping your marine vessel shining like new.
